Iowa College of Natural Health is owned by a Licensed Massage Therapist and requires all massage therapy instructors to hold a current State of Iowa massage therapy license.
Kristin S. Powers N.D., L.M.T. - President
Kris has over 10 years experience in integrative medicine. She has a successful private practice where she specializes in womens health. Kris also has an extensive business background, having built several business ventures into successful long term businesses, including a consulting business for Massage Therapists.
Lindsey L. Buckley, B.S. - Administrative Assistant
Lindsey is the Administrative Assistant, and the first contact with ISB/CNH. Lindsey holds a degree from William Penn University in Business Management. Lindsey has been employed with Iowa College of Natural Health since 2001. Lindsey enjoys working at ISB/CNH and can answer any questions you have about our massage therapy program at ISB/CNH.
Katie Prochnow, L.M.T.- Educator
Katie graduated from the ICNH program in 2005, joining the educating team 2 years later. Previous to massage therapy, Katie traveled nationally working with Chiropractors in marketing and health education. Because of her background and knowledge of the body and holistic health, massage therapy has been the perfect transition for her and her family. Katie is currently in private practice in Ankeny.
Dawn Hay, L.M.T. - Educator
Dawn is a proud graduate of the Iowa College of Natural Health. Prior to a career in massage therapy, Dawn enjoyed a nearly 20-year long career in the legal field. Her experience in working with medical cases helped her gain insight into the human body, injury treatment and recovery. Dawn is currently in private practice here in Ankeny and also works part time with a local Chiropractor.
Kacy J. Snyder, L.M.T. - Educator
Kacy graduated from ICNH in 2004. She has been practicing massage therapy for almost 6 years. She also pursued an education at Des Moines Area Community College, where she received her Associates Degree in Business Management. Kacy has experienced the massage field from several different aspects; working in a spa, self-employment, and working closely with a Chiropractor. Kacy currently practices within Skiff Sports Rehab and Physical Therapy, which is a satellite of Skiff Medical Center in Newton.
Matt Vola, L.M.T. - Educator
Matt Vola has been practicing massage for over two years. He graduated from Iowa College of Natural Health in 2007. He has since earned an associates degree from Des Moines Area Community College in Business Administration. Matt worked in a spa for the last two years but has since become self employed working now in Windsor Heights.
Jami Lagenfeld - Admissions Director
Jami is the new Admissions Director for ISB/CNH at the Ankeny School. She received a Bachelors degree in Business in 2003 and has been working in Sales since then. Jami would be happy to tell you all about our school, the programs offered and give you a tour.
