REFLEXOLOGY CERTIFICATION CLASS

Class Dates:
No Class Scheduled at this time.

ICNH operates on a non-traditional term. We do not use the traditional calendar. The course is a 100 hour program, with 35 classroom hours, 40 documented sessions, and 25 hours of home study. Classes are held each Wednesday of the month for seven weeks.
All class starts are dependent on enrollment sufficient to meet class size requirements. Weather may play a role in actual class schedule.
Classes canceled due to weather will be made up as soon as possible.
ICNH reserves the right to amend the calendar.

Enrollment Dates:
Students may enroll no later than five days prior to the start of a new class.

Entrance Requirements:
Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

Attendance:
Students are expected to be on time and attend all scheduled classes. Students missing more than one class day may be terminated from the program. Students who perform unsatisfactorily will be given additional instruction in order to perform in a satisfactory manner.

Description of Program:
100-hour Certification Course in Hand and Foot Reflexology. 35 classroom hours, 40 documented sessions, 25 hours of home study.
Classroom study includes hands-on technique application, relaxation techniques, and documentation.

Program Objectives:
To train and certify participants in Hand and Foot Reflexology.

Certified Reflexologist

Course Description:
Technique 201     Basic Technique (8 Hours) Students learn the basic reflexology technique, and how to apply it to the feet.
Technique 202     Hand Reflexology (2 Hours) Students learn how to apply the basic technique to the hands.
Relax 201            Relaxation Techniques (8 Hours) Students learn relaxation techniques applied to feet and hands.
Doc 201                Documentation / Marketing (4 Hours) Students learn how to document a reflexology session, allowing them to track a client's progress. Students learn how to market Reflexology.
CL 201                  Clinic (4 Hours) Students provide 25 Minute Reflexology sessions to the public.
CERT 203             Certification Exam (4 Hours)

Standards for Satisfactory Progress:
100% attendance and satisfactory completion of exams. Final grades are issued within one month after successfully passing exams and completing all documented sessions. Certificates and transcripts will be sent at that time.
Grade average must be 75% or higher for Certificate.
Grade average computed as follows: 100%-95% = A; 94%-85% = B; 84%-75% = C; 74%-65% D; 64% and below = F. Grades are determined by student's participation, attitude, and attendance, and passing exams.
Session documentation is due no later than 60 days from the date of the final exams.

Graduation Requirements:
Attendance at all classes and successfully passing exams and completing assignment of all documented sessions.

Student Conduct and Grounds for Dismissal:
The following will result in disciplinary action, including suspension or dismissal from the course: Physical abuse or harassment, smoking, ICNH is a smoke-free facility, vandalism, consumption of alcohol or drugs.
The following items will not be permitted in the classroom at any time:
Cell phones, and pagers.

Tuition paid in full 10 days prior to first class day.

LMT's who have taken CEUs at ICNH:   Tuition Cost $600

Refund Policy:
Books and study materials are non refundable.
Cancellation first week of class 80% of full tuition refunded.
Second week of class 50% of full tuition refunded.
No refunds after the second scheduled class.

Credit for Previous Education or Training:
ICNH does not accept transfer credits and does not extend credit for prior experience.
